Shortly after the University of Southern California fired head coach Lane Kiffin Sunday -- an administrative move that's sure to have an impact on recruiting -- Snoop Dogg's son weighed in on the move.

“I feel that he should have been fired a while ago," Cordell Broadus, a top-10 wide receiver recruit, told 247Sports.com. "USC is going to raise the bar now because the new coaching staff next year and I’m anxious to see what they are going to look like."

Broadus, whose rapper father is a big-time USC fan, received an offer from the school in April.

The class-of-2015 wide receiver has also received offers from UCLA, LSU and Nebraska. Ed Orgeron, USC's defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator, was named interim coach after Kiffin's firing.
