Emmy-winning actress Julianna Margulies hinted that Alicia Florrick could start to unravel in "The Good Wife's" fifth season, which starts Sunday on CBS.

As fans wait desperately for Will and Alicia to rekindle their on-again, off-again romance, the fifth season picks up after the lawyer reaffirms her marriage to her cheating husband (Chris Noth), now the governor of Illinois.

"As long as Will is in her peripheral vision, Alicia will be drawn to him," the 47-year-old actress said of her ongoing flirtation with her former lover, played by Josh Charles.

The Emmy-winning actress told E! News in an interview that "as a fan of the show," she wants to see Alicia "let her hair down."

What I root for in Alicia is for her to let her hair down and to do what feels good, not what feels right. I, as the fan of the show, want to see her come undone again. Because I think she's so buttoned up and so afraid, she holds her cards so close to the vest. And as soon as she starts playing them out, she can't stand up. So I'm looking forward to seeing that from her and I think many factors are going to start happening.

"I think she knows as long as she's at Lockhart and Gardner, there's no way to make her marriage work," Margulies said of Alicia's decision to start her own firm.

Because she'll always be seeing Will. I think she knows, that last scene, it was one of my favorite scenes, where she's in the car with Will and she's completely come undone. It's that feeling of, unless I'm away from you, this will keep happening. So she has to make that choice. Otherwise it will be divorce and she wouldn't be starting out her own law firm.

But Margulies doesn't have high hopes for the star-crossed TV couple.

"I think we all know that Alicia's heart was with Will," Margulies told TVGuide. "She's too much of a good girl. I think her children are too important to her."
