Dakota Fanning, Theo James join 'Franny'

Dakota Fanning and 'Divergent' star Theo James will join Richard Gere in the indie "Franny" from up-and-comer Andrew Renzi.

Dakota Fanning and Theo James are on board to star with Richard Gere in the indie drama "Fanny," which is set to begin filming in October.

Fanning and James will play newly married couple Olivia and Luke, and Gere the hedonistic philanthropist who ingratiates himself into their lives, desperately seeking to create the life he once had.

The script is by Andrew Renzi, who will also direct, and was developed at this year's Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Treehouse Pictures will produce.

Filming begins October 21 in Philadelphia.
