Charlie Sheen wants the world to know everything is peaceful on the set of "Anger Management," at least when it comes to the supposedly contentious departure of Selma Blair.

"One of our primary characters, Selma Blair, who played Kate, was written out because it was not about our relationship, and the problem was too many people were still excited about the 'Two and a Half [Men]' character and thinking the 'Anger Management' character was a little dull," Sheen explained in a stop by "The Tonight Show". "So that is not the case anymore."

Rumors from the set suggested things had gotten nasty between the two, especially after Blair complained to show brass about Sheen's work ethic.

Insiders said Blair was all too happy to go.

"She really had no problem leaving after Charlie flew off the handle and seems to be at peace to be off the show," one insider said. "It would have been much harder to stay."
