Daniel Radcliffe debuts three films at Toronto film fest

Daniel Radcliffe is still so inextricably linked to the Boy Wizard that rabid "Harry Potter" fans mobbed him at the Venice Film Festival earlier this month. But the young British star has taken on a plethora of projects in the years since the last "Potter" film, in the hopes that he'll have a long-lasting career beyond the series.

Speaking to reporters at the Toronto International Film Festival, where he's promoting three films, Radcliffe said it's going to take many roles to move beyond Harry.

"There's never going to be one film that comes out that officially breaks me away from Harry," the 24-year-old actor told E! News at "The F Word" premiere. "It's a process. But I definitely think that these three films are a part of that."

In "The F Word," Radcliffe stars alongside Zoe Kazan as two friends who develop an attraction to each other. In the fantasy-thriller "Horns," Radcliffe plays a murder suspect who uses his newfound paranormal abilities to find out who killed his girlfriend. He also plays gay American beat poet Allen Ginsberg in "Kill Your Darlings."

"I've got three films. Benedict Cumberbatch has three movies. I'm not the only one, I'd like to point that out," Radcliffe told USA Today. "You get excited. My films could not be more different. That's what's exciting to me."

"I've been one thing for so long. So far so good," he added.
