Kanye West off the hook, cleared of felony charges in paparazzi scuffle

Kanye West has had a busy summer. Not only did he drop his latest album, "Yeezus," and welcome a baby daughter with Kim Kardashian, the 36-year-old rapper faced serious legal charges for scuffling with a photographer as LAX last month.

Video of the July 19 incident showed the new father tackling a paparazzo to the ground after arriving at the airport.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office announced Saturday that they had decided not to file a felony charge, citing West's clear record, lack of weapon and minimal injury to the victim. West could still face misdemeanor charges.
