Aug. 8 (UPI) -- Cristiano Ronaldo was the star of Wednesday's Chelsea-Real Madrid match for many reasons.

Not only did the 28-year-old player score 2 of the 3 goals that led his team to victory, but he was a complete gentleman when a fan jumped into the field to embrace him.

The incident took place during the final of the Guinness International Champions Cup at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Fla. when a fan, wearing a "Ronaldo" jersey, jumped into the field and embraced the player.

In a clip of the moment, it's clear that the fan shared a few words with the Portuguese player, before putting his arm around him in a hug. Ronaldo hugged him back. The man was soon after escorted from the field by police officers.
