Tommy Chong backs daughter's Oprah slur [VIDEO]

Rae Dawn Chong has apologized for calling Oprah a fat, ugly "brown-noser," but her father, Tommy Chong, is standing by his daughter's comments.

"If you think of what she said, she said back in the day Oprah would be working in the field because she’s not that beautiful," Tommy Chong said. "Whereas if you’re beautiful, you’re part of the master’s bedroom."

“Knowing Oprah, she would probably read [Rae's comments] and just chuckle and probably agree with Rae Dawn," he said. "She probably would be working in the field."

Oprah and Rae Dawn Chong were once close friends and co-stars in "The Color Purple," but their relationship has since deteriorated.
