Mazzy Star had an alt-rock radio hit with their 1993 song, "Fade Into You," off their album, "So Tonight That I Might See." After the duo released a single in 2011, fans have been hoping that a new album might be on the horizon.
Pitchfork reported Tuesday that Mazzy Star's new LP, "Seasons of Your Day," will drop September 24 on their own label. It will feature both 2011's ""Common Burn" b/w "Lay Myself Down" and their new single "California," which you can listen to above.
