The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety has decided that a "Project Runway" billboard featuring nude models is too "obscene" to grace billboards around Los Angeles, US Weekly reported Wednesday.

"Project Runway" hosts Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn are fully clothed in the ad -- wearing Marie Antoinette-style period garb -- while a group of models appear naked below them.

"Designers! We need clothing for these people! Fast! Season 12 starts July 18th," Klum tweeted Tuesday.

"It was not immediately clear whether a city org formally rejected Lifetime’s efforts to erect billboards with the racy image, or whether the cabler ran into roadblocks with private sellers of outdoor advertising space" Variety, first to report the story, explained.
