Kerry Washington weds football star Nnamdi Asomugha in secret ceremony

Kerry Washington is so coy about her personal life that gossipmongers barely knew she was dating San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha before word broke that the two had tied the knot.

On Wednesday, ET obtained marriage documents naming the 36-year-old actress and Asomugha, 31, husband and wife in Hailey, Idaho on June 24. Washington's parents served as witnesses.

Washington has stayed mum about the marriage on her active Twitter feed, which she uses to connect with "Scandal" fans and promote other projects. But she did say she would take a break from the social networking service shortly before her secret nuptials.
