Fan brain damage: Woman kicked in head by Miguel claims injury

During his performance at the Billboard Music Awards, artist Miguel leapt over the crowd -- almost.

In his now-famous leap, he landed on two female fans, kicking one in the head and falling on the other.

One of the fans now claims she may have brain damage from the accident, according to TMZ.

Khyati Shah has hired a lawyer as she waits for test results from a neurologist.

Her lawyer, Vip Bhola, said that she has experienced some cognitive problems since the hit. She was not treated at the event save for a Billboard-provided ice pack, which Bhola called a "pathetic gesture."

Shah did get to spend time backstage after the performance, according to MTV News.

Shah's test results are expected to come in next week. The results will determine whether she files a lawsuit.
