Domino's newest delivery system: The pizza drone

If only Jeff Spicoli could see this, pizza delivered hot and fresh via flying robot.

Domino's U.K. teamed up with both drone experts AeroSight and agency T + biscuits to create a pizza delivery drone that was flying the skies outside of London, according to New York Daily News.

Aptly named the "DomiCopter" this pizza drone carried two pizzas packed with cheesy goodness and seasoned crust around Guildford, outside of London. Flying for an epic 10 minutes, the drone created another way for the people of the world to stay stationary while food comes to them.

Although Tom Hatton, the founder of T + Biscuits told NBC News that "it went quicker than a pizza boy," you will likely still have to continue to rely on humans to deliver your pies for the foreseeable future.

No word yet on whether we get to keep the pizza drone for free if delivery takes longer than 30 minutes.
