Prince Harry began his seven-day tour of the United States on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, with what The Guardian described as a "delirious reception" from screaming Hill staffers.

"I've never seen so many women!" one staffer said of the collection of excited women who gathered to see Prince Harry arrive.

Led by Sen. John McCain, looking bewildered, the 28-year-old royal toured an exhibition on land mines in the Russell Senate building.

"You could hear hearts breaking all over the room when he left," an intern told Us Weekly. "He is so cute, better than I expected."

Buzzfeed collected the best tweets of Harry's visit to the Hill, with plenty of photos of expectant female staffers.

The red-headed prince also visited first lady Michelle Obama at the White House for an unannounced Mother's Day gathering with military moms and their children.

Harry's tour will focus on raising awareness and funds about rehabilitation for British and American soldiers. The popular prince will also stop in Colorado, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. But not Las Vegas, for the obvious reasons.
