Madonna decided to skip wearing pants to this year's punk-themed Met Gala which took place in New York City on Monday.

After arriving fashionably late to the event, the 54-year-old singer/songwriter walked the red carpet in a Givenchy ensemble consisting of a studded black and grey tartan jacket secured with a studded black belt, a fishnet mini, black tights and pink heels.
