Denise Richards on being called too skinny: "I have a very healthy lifestyle"

Denise Richards stood her ground amidst rumors saying she is "too skinny."

"I don’t know why lately I’ve been getting so much flack for it," the actress told Extra at the Radio Disney Music Awards on Saturday. "I have a very healthy lifestyle and I’m busy. I have a daughter who’s almost 2 that I carry all the time. She’s just under 30 pounds.”

The 42-year-old star said that even though she doesn't pay much attention to the rumors "what bothers me is I have three daughters, and I’m such an advocate for health and fitness… in moderation. We eat ice cream all the time. I had grilled cheese before we got here.”

Richards was invited to the Disney Music Awards after making a especial appearance on the Disney Channel show "Kickin’ It." Here's a video of Richards, her daughter Zola, 7, and her best friend walking down the red carpet.
