Meghan McCain and Ann Coulter are two Republican women who don't exactly see eye to eye. McCain called Coulter "offensive, radical, insulting and confusing all at the same time," in a 2009 Daily Beast article, while Coulter once compared her to Tiger Woods' mistress. Coulter reinvigorated their feud with a since-deleted Fox News blog post called "Liberals Go Crazy for the Mentally Ill," in which she wrote:

"MSNBC's Martin Bashir suggested that Republican senators need to have a member of their families killed for them to support the Democrats' gun proposals. (Let's start with Meghan McCain!)."
The offending quip refers to Martin Bashir's interview with Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., whose nephew was lethally shot in 2011.
McCain and her mother responded in a series of tweets on Wednesday and Thursday. People like Coulter "only live to spread hate and negativity," McCain said.
Apparently Ann Coulter made a joke about me being killed in a recent column. I should expect nothing less but disgusted regardless.

Her mother Cindy got into the fray with a few tweets defending her daughter.
