Mick Fleetwood files for separation from his wife

Mick Fleetwood, the drummer from Fleetwood Mac, is filing for legal separation from his wife Lynn Susan Frankel after 17 years of marriage.

TMZ reports Fleetwood cited irreconcilable differences and requested joint legal custody of the couple's 11-year-old twin daughters, Ruby and Tessa. He has not yet filed for divorce.

As for the distribution of wealth, the drummer claims all his premarital musical royalties and memorabilia belong to him.

Frankel was Fleetwood's third wife.
