Shakira hits back at ex-boyfriend asking for $100M

Shakira says her ex-boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua, has no claim to her fortune, since she was already a star when they met, TMZ reported Saturday.

De la Rua filed a 100 million lawsuit last November claiming that he served as Shakira's manager during their lengthy courtship from 2000 to 2010. He also said he helped the Latin superstar eke out lucrative business deals.

According to Shakira, now a 36-year-old mother, de la Rua advised her occasionally but was never her formal manager.

The singer gave birth to a baby boy in January, her son with FC Barcelona soccer player Gerard Pique.
