[VIDEO] Michelle Bachmann races away from CNN's Dana Bash

By KATE STANTON, UPI.com

CNN reporter Dana Bash chased Rep. Michele Bachmann down a hallway in an attempt to question her about comments she made at last week's Conservative Political Action Conference regarding Barack Obama's supposedly luxurious lifestyle.

Bash questioned the Minnesota Republican about her claims that the administration has a dedicated dog walker, five Air Force One chefs and two projectionists for the White House movie theater (You can check out the Washington Post's thorough fact-check of these claims here).

"You talked about the excesses that he's engaged in, the fact that he has a dog walker, which is not true," Bash said.

"The real issue is there are four Americans that are dead," Bachmann said. "You want to talk about dog handlers when there are four Americans killed?"

"But you're the one who brought it up," Bash said as Bachmann out-ran her.

Bachmann received criticism from more conservative circles Wednesday, when Fox News host Bill O'Reilly called Bachmann's CPAC comments "trivial."

"Mr. Obama is entitled to protection, convenience and comfort as he runs the nation," O'Reilly said.

"The bad news is she can walk very fast in heels, the bad news is so can I," Bash told Anderson Cooper about the speed-walk interview session. "This time she was moving so fast, it tested my endurance."
