Lil Wayne hospitalized again for seizures

Lil Wayne was taken to the Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles Tuesday after suffering multiple seizures, TMZ reported. Weezy was in Los Angeles recording the music video for Nicki Minaj's new single, "High School."

The rapper's rep released this statement (via Hollywood Life):

"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love."

Minaj, Lil Wayne's friend and collaborator, tweeted a photo of herself with the rapper hours before his health scare.

The 30-year-old New Orleans native had a similar health scare back in October, when he suffered two separate seizures. In one incident, Weezy's seizure symptoms forced his private plane to make an emergency landing.
