The Federal Bureau of Investigation released files on Whitney Houston, including some that detail a fan's extortion attempt and subsequent hush money to keep details of the singer's private life out of the spotlight.
The FBI released 128 pages of documents on Houston following a Freedom of Information (FOIA) request, including a 1992 letter in which a woman demanded $100,000 in order to keep "certain details" of Houston's "romantic relationships" private.
