Tim Tebow, perhaps just as famous for his religious views and sideline poses as his athletic prowess, has backed out of an appearance at a controversial Dallas church, citing "new information that has been brought to my attention."
The New York Jets quarterback and evangelical Christian was scheduled to deliver two sermons at Dallas First Baptist Church in April. The church's pastor, Dr. Robert Jeffress, has been criticized for his views on gay people, Muslims, Jews and Mormons.
