Alfa Romeo makes U.S. comeback this year with 4C sports car

Italian automaker Alfa Romeo will unveil the new Alfa 4C at the International Motor Show in Geneva next month. They showed a concept of the model two years ago and finally entered production after delays.

The two-seater sports car will be Alfa's first U.S. model in nearly 30 years. Alfa Romeo is owned by Fiat SpA, which also controls Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram in the U.S. The new Alfa sports car will be built at Fiat SpA’s Maserati plant in Modena, Italy, and cost around $60,000 U.S. It has a turbocharged 1.75-Liter aluminum four-cylinder engine with 200-plus horsepower and will feature a lightweight carbon fiber chassis.
