Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and her fiance, Nick Loeb have entered couple's counseling, TVNZ reported.

The couple's decision to seek professional guidance was the actress', as she'd like to make sure everything is okay before they tie the knot.

"She decided they needed professional help before she would walk down the aisle. They had their first session over the phone - and so far, so good!," a source close to Vergara told Star magazine.

Vergara and Loeb got engaged last July and have not yet set a date for the big day.

Earlier this year, the couple made headlines after Loeb got kicked out of the Miami club where they were celebrating New Year's Rve. The incident took place after Loeb got into a heated argument with a nearby table that led to him being escorted out by security. During the altercation, Vergara's dress was torn and her breasts were exposed.

But the actress was quick to forgive him, she shared a cute photo of the two of them having lunch on Jan. 2.
