Baz Luhrmann is wasting no time wallowing in the nostalgic glamour of the 1920s.

Like Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet before it, Gatsby will have Luhrmann's distinct style, with current music (Jay Z and Kanye's "No Church in the Wild" and Florence and the Machine's "Bedroom Hymns" are two) providing the decidedly anachronistic soundtrack to F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel.

The new trailer for The Great Gatsby is as vibrant and dark as the first, but this time with more of Gatsby himself. The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, with Tobey Maguire (Nick Carraway) and Carrie Mulligan (Daisy Buchanan), was originally set to open this month, but has been pushed to May.
