Bret Easton Ellis: Kathryn Bigelow is 'really overrated' because she's 'very hot'

Bret Easton Ellis, no stranger to controversy-courting Twitter statements, does not approve of director Kathryn Bigelow's latest film, "Zero Dark Thirty," and he's worried that it might win an Oscar because Bigelow is a woman. The 48-year-old author of "American Psycho" and screenwriter of "The Canyons" unleashed a series of derisive tweets at Bigelow on his Twitter feed Wednesday night, saying that everyone loves the Oscar-winning "Hurt Locker" director because she's "a very hot woman."
