A 125-mile long traffic back up along the main highway between Moscow and St. Petersburg trapped Russian motorists in freezing cold temperatures and heavy snows all weekend long. According to CNN, Russian officials blamed bad weather, after heavy snow and fog blanketed sections of the M-10 highway. Reports from the state-run RIA Novosti said that the Emergencies Ministry set up temporary food and warming tents, while cafes along the highway raised their prices.
