Nevermind Cory Booker, how would ridiculously popular New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie fare in a hypothetical matchup against his idol? "Just for fun," Public Policy Polling threw Jersey rock legend Bruce Springsteen into the running against Christie in a poll measuring the governor's chances at re-election. Christie, whose approval ratings have soared in the weeks since Sandy, would best the Boss 61-25 percent in a hypothetical race for governor.

Christie would undoubtedly have a rough time in the ring against his favorite musician and personal hero. In spite of stark political differences, the governor has seen Springsteen in concert more than 130 times and has admitted to crying after meeting his idol in person.
