Vulture has obtained a U.K. promo spot for "Downton Abbey's" third season, which takes place at the start of the 1920s and features new cast member Shirley MacLaine as Maggie Smith's American counterpart.
"Through war and peace Downton still stands," MacLaine's character, Martha Levinson, says in the promo, "And the Crawleys are still in it."

From the looks of the trailer, Downton fans can expect the usual Dowager Countess zingers, Crawley family money troubles and a not-so-happily ever after for Matthew and Mary.
British viewers will be able to tune in to the third season premiere when it airs on ITV in September. Americans will have to wait until January 2013.
