The Olympic torch was being readied for a grand moment--it was to be handed off to retired rower and gold medalist Steve Redgrave and gracefully rowed across the Thames.

But the moment didn't go off exactly as planned: a man jumped out into the roadway, dancing around with a fake torch while stark naked.

The streaker, identified by police as a 27-year old man from Henley-on-Thames, where the incident took place, also had the words "Free Tibet" painted on his back.

This isn't the first time the London torch relay has been interrupted: last week, a pair of mischievous boys made a grab for the real torch.
