Harry Reid tells reporter: 'That's a clown question, bro,' proudly tweets it

Bryce Harper’s "clown question" phrase has probably jumped the shark now.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid responded to a reporter Tuesday with Washington Nationals’ outfielder Bryce Harper's now-famous turn of phrase, “That’s a clown question, bro.”

When Roll Call’s Steven Davis asked if Sen. Mitch McConnell wanted Mitt Romney to comment first on Obama’s immigration policy, Sen. Reid replied, “I don’t want to answer that question. That’s a clown question bro.”

Harper first garnered media attention with the phrase when a reporter asked him about his favorite beer.

Like Sen. Reid, 19-year-old Howard also hails from Nevada.
