The Academy Award-winning director of ‘Saving Face,’ Daniel Junge, and Bryan Storkel are making the film. Storkel previously directed “Holy Rollers: The True Story of Card Counting Christians.”

According to “Fight Church’s” Facebook page, the documentary “follows several pastors and popular fighters in their quest to reconcile their faith with a sport that many consider violent and barbaric.”
The film raised the $30,000 needed to fund the project on June 5.
