NEW YORK, Sept. 29 (UPI) -- The Empire State building glowed blue and white pinstripes Sunday night out of "Re2pect" for retiring captain Derek Jeter.

Jeter played the final game of his 20-year career against rival team the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. The Yankees beat the Red Sox 9-5.
