The Greenville teenager disappeared the afternoon of Nov. 2 after getting off a school bus. Her body was found four days later, stuffed inside a trunk left along a rural road.

Van Zandt County officials had initially classified the teen as a runaway because of previous incidents in which she had briefly left home.

The case eventually got national attention that prompted the offer of a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Michael Moore was in the Van Zandt County jail in lieu of $10 million bond.
