Vigil held for missing Lisa Irwin

NORTHLAND, Mo., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- The parents of 11-month-old Lisa Irwin, who disappeared a year ago from her Missouri home, say they have not given up hope that she will return home.

Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin held a candlelight prayer vigil outside their home Wednesday night, attended by nearly 100 relatives, neighbors and others, The Kansas City (Mo.) Star reported.

"Lord, we ask again today like we do every day for you to safely return Lisa here to her parents and brothers," said Jeremy Irwin's sister, Ashley Irwin. "You've numbered the hairs on Lisa's head, and Lord we know you are watching after her."

Lisa disappeared Oct. 4, 2011. Jeremy Irwin returned home from work that night to find he front door open, Bradley asleep and Lisa's crib empty.

Lisa is classified as a missing or abducted child, as there is no evidence to suggest she is dead, officials said.

A $100,000 reward has been offered for information about the disappearance.

"We just ask that you keep Lisa in your prayers," Bradley said after the vigil. "We are absolutely not giving up until she comes home."
