WASHINGTON, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama welcome the 2012 U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams to the White House Friday, the daily schedule said.

The schedule indicated Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the daily briefing.

-- Welcome the 2012 U.S. Olympians and Paralympians to the White House to honor their participation and success in this year's Summer Games in London.

-- Meet Biden for lunch.

-- Attend a campaign event at a private residence.
