WASHINGTON, May 9 (UPI) -- President Obama welcomes NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen to Washington Wednesday to discuss the NATO summit, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the daily briefing.

-- Meet with Biden and Rasmussen in the Oval Office to discuss final preparations for the NATO summit in Chicago May 20-21.

-- Meet with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner.

-- Meet with senior advisers.

-- Host with first lady Michelle Obama a concert honoring songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David, who will be awarded the 2012 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The concert is part of the "In Performance at the White House" series.
