Chattanooga robbery reported via Facebook

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Chattanooga, Tenn., police responded to a robbery of a woman who reported the crime to her Facebook page.

Rolanda Hill, 20, told responding officers someone knocked on her apartment door Sunday and forced himself inside, the Chattanooga (Tenn.) Times Free Press reported.

The intruder held Hill at gunpoint and demanded she give him her money and cellphone, police said.

Once the man left, Hill reported the robbery on Facebook, asking friends to call the police.

Hill described the suspect as a black male, about 6-foot, thin and carrying a gun.
