No injuries in aircraft incident

CHICAGO, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Investigators at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport say they're unsure why the wing of a cargo plane hit the wing of another plane as it pulled into a gate.

Saturday's incident didn't result in any injuries; the 27 passengers aboard the United Express flight didn't realize what happened, the Chicago Tribune reported.

"It apparently didn't cause any commotion that was noticeable by the people on board," said United spokesman Rahsaan Johnson. "All of our customers and crew deplaned normally."

The plane had just arrived from Charlotte, N.C., and was pulling into the gate at the time of the accident shortly after 9 p.m., Johnson said.

Johnson said it was unclear if snowy conditions played a part in the incident.

"We'll have to investigate," Johnson said.
