Obama to discuss export promotion

WASHINGTON, July 7 (UPI) -- Growing the U.S. economy in a global market is the thrust of remarks President Barack Obama will make Wednesday, the White House said.

Obama will discuss the administration's commitment to promoting exports to grow the U.S. economy and support new American jobs, the daily schedule said.

Obama and Vice President Joe Biden will receive the daily briefings and be updated on the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the White House said.

Later in the afternoon, Obama and Biden will have separate meetings with Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
