Supremacist gets life for racial killing

MAYS LANDING, N.J., April 3 (UPI) -- A white supremacist was sentenced Friday to life in a New Jersey prison for killing a black woman in an apparently random crime.

Walter Dille Jr., 40, remained silent during his sentencing, The Press of Atlantic City reported. Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Albert Garofolo imposed a sentence with no parole for the murder of Cindy Cade, 44, and added a consecutive 20 years for other crimes.

Cade, who lived in Galloway, a few miles west of Atlantic City, was shot in the parking lot of a movie theater where she had stopped in 2005 to buy tickets for the opening night of "King Kong."

Marcus Cade brought two photographs of his wife to court, saying he wanted to let those present "know a little more about Cindy Cade."

"She was a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, a co-worker, a mother, my wife, my partner, my soulmate, my best friend," he said. "My future grandchildren will never get the opportunity to benefit from Cindy's joy and the beauty of her love."

Dille's only display of emotion came as Cindy Cade's brother, Stephen Parker, read a letter from his parents. Dille laughed when the couple said they hoped the sentence given him would deter others.
