Canada body-parts murder victim identified

GAZA, Aug. 31 (UPI) -- The armed win of Hamas claimed responsibility for Tuesday's twin suicide bombings in southern Israel, which killed at least 15 Israelis.
Hamas issued a leaflet to reporters, signed shortly after the bloody attacks on two buses in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba.
"The two operations are a response to the assassination of Hamas founder Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and his successor Dr. Abdel Aziz Rantisi," said the leaflet signed by Izel Deen Al Qassam.
Yassin was assassinated April 20 and Rantisi, May 18 -- both by missiles fired by Israeli Army Apache helicopters in Gaza City.
The leaflet said the two attacks are "a present" to Palestinian prisoners currently engaged in a more than 2-week-old hunger strike.
