March 28 (UPI) -- With Mike Wallace and Breshad Perriman anchoring its wide receiver stable, the Baltimore Ravens could definitely afford to add some depth.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh wouldn't mind bringing back a player from his 2012 Super Bowl squad, in veteran free agent Anquan Boldin.

Boldin, 36, had 584 yards and eight touchdowns on 67 receptions last season, showing that he still has some juice left as an explosive pass-catcher. The three-time Pro Bowl selection had 2,645 yards and 14 touchdowns in his three seasons with the Ravens. Before joining the Detroit Lions last offseason, Boldin played three seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He played the first seven years of his career with the Arizona Cardinals.

"I do believe he can still play at the highest level," Harbaugh told ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

This is the first time Boldin has been connected to another team since the end of last season. He expects to sign after the start of training camp. Last month he said that he hasn't decided if he would return for the 2017 season, but would be open to returning to the Lions, according to Tim Twentyman. ESPN's Jim Trotter later reported that Boldin would be coming back for a 2017 campaign.
