Bears rule out Matt Forte, Eddie Royal

The Chicago Bears ruled out injured running back Matt Forte and wide receiver Eddie Royal from Monday night's game at the San Diego Chargers.

Forte and Royal both have knee injuries.

The Bears will start rookie Jeremy Langford at running back. He has 27 carries for 80 yards this season.

Forte is averaging 4.0 yards per carry while totaling 548 for the season. He was injured last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings after gaining 41 yards on 10 rushes.

Royal has 26 catches for 171 yards with a touchdown this year.
