Triplett, seeking his third career Champions Tour title, finished 36 holes at 10-under 134, as did Langer, who managed a 2-under 70 Saturday to retain a share of the lead.
Langer, the defending champion, came into the second round with a one-stroke advantage over Bob Tway at the TwinEagles Club.
Duffy Waldorf (68) and Olin Browne shared third place at 9-under.
Colin Montgomery (67) and Tway (72) finished tied for fifth at 7-under 137.
