SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Tiago Splitter scored 22 points and Tim Duncan notched a double-double Saturday, hoisting the San Antonio Spurs over the Los Angeles Clippers 116-92.
Duncan provided 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs, who outscored the Clippers 37-17 in the first quarter and never looked back.
Tony Parker helped out with 17 points and nine assists, and Manu Ginobili added 15 points off the bench as San Antonio took a fourth win in five games.
The Clippers, playing without superstar point guard Chris Paul, got 24 points and seven assists from Jamal Crawford.
Paul is expected to miss 3-5 weeks after sustaining a right shoulder sprain during the Clippers' 119-112 win at Dallas Friday.
Blake Griffin had 19 points and seven rebounds.
