OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant scored 31 points Friday and received plenty of help in boosting Oklahoma City to a lopsided 122-97 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Los Angeles has played three games since the return of superstar Kobe Bryant and the Lakers have lost all of them. Bryant showed plenty of rust after coming back from Achilles tendon surgery, scoring just four points in 23 minutes. He handed out 13 assists.

Serge Ibaka, Russell Westbrook and Reggie Jackson backed up Durant with 19 points each, keeping the Thunder unbeaten in their 11 home games this season. Oklahoma City won for the 13th time in 14 games.

Nick Young scored 17 points for the Lakers, who have surrendered at least 100 points in six straight contests.

Oklahoma City scored 38 points in the first period, the most the Thunder has produced in any quarter this season.
