NHL: Los Angeles 5, Vancouver 1

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Tyler Toffoli scored twice and added an assist Saturday in the Los Angeles Kings' 5-1 spanking of Vancouver.

Mike Richards helped out with a goal and two assists for the Kings, who blew the game open with three scores within a 2 1/2-minute span in the second period.

Jordan Nolan and Justin Williams also scored as Los Angeles posted a third win in four games.

Jonathan Quick stopped 25-of-26 shots.

Dan Hamhuis scored for the Canucks.

Roberto Luongo started in goal but was pulled in the middle period after yielding four goals on 18 shots.

Eddie Lack took over and turned aside 13-of-14 shots the rest of the way.
