NBA: Detroit 87, Boston 77

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe combined for 30 points and 22 rebounds Sunday in the Detroit Pistons' 87-77 triumph over Boston.

Drummond provided 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Monroe added 15 and 10 for Detroit, which won a second straight at home to begin the season.

Josh Smith also netted 15 points to go with seven rebounds and Brandon Jennings marked his Detroit debut with 14 points, four assists and four steals.

Jennings missed the Pistons' first two games after having dental surgery. He was obtained from Milwaukee in an off-season trade.

Kelly Olynyk came off the bench to pace the winless Celtics (0-3) with 15 points and eight rebounds.
